Robot-inspired dance crew Poreotix were crowned the season five winner of America’s Best Dance Crew on Thursday night. Poreotix, who hail from Westminster, California, topped Canadian team Blueprint Cru to win the title of America’s Best Dance Crew and the MTV dance competition’s $100,000 grand prize.
American Idol judge Randy Jackson, who is the show’s executive producer, presented Poreotix with the season five trophy at the end of the live finale. “You dominated the competition this year with your crazy robotic style and your brilliant sense of humor,” Randy said. “I have the honor of naming you America’s Best Dance Crew.”
Poreotix thanked their fans, who can see them perform next week on MTV in an all-star ABDC reunion for charity featuring dance crew winners from previous seasons.
